LoveFest 13 – A Christian Youth Event

On Saturday, Feb. 7 and Sunday Feb. 8 Our Savior Lutheran Church in Arcadia will present LoveFest 13, a unique event for teens and adults of all ages which focuses on the truth about the tough topics facing us today.
This event, drawing 1,000 attendees, is slated “Freedom” based on John 8:32. Saturday’s event features keynote speakers, breakout sessions, an IN-N-OUT lunch, dinner by Matt Denny’sm and live entertainment under a large tent.
Keynote speakers are Josh Shippm who is sought after to help teens and parents understand each other, award-winning singer Tiffany Thurston and Tim Goeglein, currently from Focus on the Family who was
Special Assistant to President George W. Bush and Deputy Director of the White House Office of Public Liaison.
Third runner up in 2012’s “America’s Got Talent” competition, Joe Castillo, is back by overwhelming demand with his “SandStory” presentation. He will also present “SandStory” at the Sunday morning worship services – 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
Breakout session topics include Media Images and Messages, So Why am I Getting Married?, Piercings and Other Markings, Same Sex Attraction, Raising Teens with Sexual Self Control, A Christian Defense of Traditional Marriage and much more.
