Pasadena City Manager Michael Beck Tuesday told employees that two department heads, who didn’t catch a $6.4 million embezzlement, were no longer employed by the city and officially “separated” according to William Boyer, Pasadena’s Public Information Officer

Former DPW employee Danny Ray Wooten, 51, is accused of embezzling $6.4 million from a utilities fund. Green and Foster attempted to assure an angry public a recent council meeting that they’d make changes so this would never happen again.
