Pam Fitzpatrick to be honored by Monrovia Chamber

Pam Fitzpatrick will receive the Iris Award from the Monrovia Chamber of Commerce at its annual installation banquet on January 30. The Iris Award is basically the city’s Citizen of the Year award. Fitzpatrick, along with her sisters, Jennifer and Cindy Ranger, owns Dollmakers Kattywompas, the toy and music store in Old Town Monrovia.
Fitzpatrick has been active not only in chamber and business activities in the community, but in various charitable activities as well, including the Foothill Unity Center, the Boys and Girls Club, Monrovia Reads, KGEM as well. She has also been a driving force among the merchants in Old Town Monrovia serving for many years on MOTAB, the Mayor’s Old Town Advisory Board.
In addition the Chamber will present Ron Ross of Wendy’s Monrovia with the Monroe Award for service to the community by an individual not a resident of the city, and its Dick Lord Award for service to the Chamber to Jason Landes of Prime Lending. Military Service and Stewardship Award for service to the veterans causes in the community is being presented to Rob Hammond.
