South Lake Avenue kicks off its annual holiday celebration 12:00pm on Saturday, December 6th at The Shops on Lake Avenue, 345 S. Lake Avenue in Pasadena with free holiday fun for the whole family! Presented by the South Lake Business Association, guests can enjoy complimentary holiday festivities including in-store promotions at over 50 local merchants, photos with Santa, horse & carriage rides, live music performances from Southern California’s top bands, carolers, holiday crafts, a themed scavenger hunt, giveaways and more!
This year’s celebration features musical performances from some of Southern California’s most buzzed-about acts, beginning with electro-pop disco queen Gavin Turek who takes the stage at 1pm. Other performances include acclaimed indie folk group Run River North and popular electronic indie rock collective Wildcat! Wildcat! whose unique sound has been featured on the BBC and in Time Magazine.
In addition to exciting live musical performances, attendees will enjoy traditional holiday festivities including photos with Santa, horse and carriage rides, carolers and festive themed crafts. This year also includes an exciting scavenger hunt as well as prizes and giveaways.
Throughout the event, guests can take advantage of the numerous in-store sales and promotions offered at over 50 of South Lake Avenue’s restaurants, eateries and retailers listed below. “Our holiday celebration definitely gets event attendees in the holiday spirit and invites everyone to explore the district while sharing memories with friends and family. Guests can tackle their holiday shopping lists by taking advantage of special in-store promotions offered on the day of the event,” says Gina Tleel, Executive Director of the South Lake Business Association.
