To continue to support our local small businesses, the Pasadena Chamber has provided many with give-away items and gifts for their guests on Small Business Saturday on November 29th. Reusable shopping bags, pens, pins and more were given to local businesses such as Atelier Femme, Planet Beach, Robin’s Woodfire BBQ, Massetti Caffe Mobile and Custom Comfort Mattress. The items are intended to reward customers on Small Business Saturday. Some participating businesses were given two $25 gift cards to reward customers on November 29th.
Those with smartphones can enter the Chamber Small Business Saturday Scavenger Hunt using Facebook, Twitter or Instagram by sending three photos from local small businesses and identifying the Pasadena Chamber in the photos. Two lucky winners of $25 gift cards will be drawn from those entering.
Visit any three participating Pasadena Chamber members on Saturday, November 29th, and you can be eligible to win a $25 gift card. All you need to do is check in with a photo on Twitter (@pasadenachamber), Facebook (hashtag# pasadena.chamber) or Instagram and hashtag (#pasadena_chamberofcommerce) or fill out the sheet and send it in. Those who prefer an analog entry form can download the entry sheet at http://www.pasadena-chamber.org/sites/default/files/media/SMALL_BUSINESS_SATURDAY_scavenger_hunt.pdf. Those entries can be mailed to Scavenger Hunt, Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, 844 E. Green St., #208, Pasadena, CA 91101.
“On Saturday, November 29th we encourage everyone to patronize our local small businesses for Small Business Saturday,” said Chamber CEO Paul Little. “We are pleased to be part of an effort to promote what is so wonderful about our local shopping and dining opportunities.”
Small Business Saturday was created to encourage shopping at local retailers and restaurants.
Many Pasadena Chamber members are taking part this year by offering specials, give-away items and incentives to shop on Saturday, November 29th.
Some of the participants will be hosting special events and activities for Small Business Saturday. Atelier Femme is hosting a Fa-la-la-la Flawless Skin Can Be Yours Event in the store as well as other Atelier Femme giveaways for the SHOP SMALL shopping day!
The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and Civic Association is a professional business organization. Since the earliest days of Pasadena, the Chamber has played a major role in the development of this internationally renowned city. Since 1888, when the organization was founded as the Board of Trade, the Chamber’s primary purpose has been the enhancement of both the business climate and the quality of life in Pasadena. The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce serves more than 1450 members.
