Paragon at Old Town now has the fastest home Internet in California
Giggle Fiber, the new high speed fiber-optic-based Internet competitor in Monrovia and Arcadia, announced its first Gigabit speed Internet neighborhood: the 163 unit Paragon at Old Town.
The new 1,000 Meg by 1,000 Meg symmetrical Internet service is priced at $79.95/month. Customers choosing to include home telephone service have a combined rate of only $99.90.
“Gigabit Internet to the home is the future, but in Monrovia the future begins today,” said Dave Haverkate, Giggle Fiber’s CEO. “We are investing heavily in our network in Arcadia and Monrovia with the objective of making Gigabit level Internet available to every home and business.”
Giggle Fiber presently has over 4,000 local homes and businesses connected at speeds ranging from 5 Meg to 200 Meg. Today’s announcement of Gigabit service will accelerate a new era of competition and speed upgrades for all Monrovia and Arcadia residents and businesses.
The Giggle Fiber business plan is to enable residential customers to receive all of their communications and home entertainment needs from a single Internet connection.
“The days of the high priced cable bundle are numbered,” added Mark Haverkate, Giggle Fiber’s Business Development Director. “Our customers will be able to simultaneously stream multiple HD videos sources while only paying for the video content they actually want. Our job is to be very reliable, at a low flat rate, with open access to all.”
Giggle Fiber operates a retail and demonstration center at 512 S. Myrtle in Old Town Monrovia. Its new high technology data center is also locally based, as are all customer service and technical personnel.
