The Mayfield Senior Cubs played their first CIF match against Mission Prep this past Tuesday. Mission Prep had a lengthy travel period of four hours to reach Pasadena, however, they only spent a short 60 minutes on the court, as the Cubs defeated them in 3 games.
The Cubs won each match: 25-13, 25-13 and 25-17. The Cubs were dominant in every aspect of their performance on Tuesday Night and look forward to tonight’s game (Thursday the 13th, 7PM) at an home against Valley Christian High School. Valley Christian beat Gahr 3-1 in their first CIF match Tuesday.
