Monrovia’s newest business Massage Envy gets flooded after being open just 7 days
Saturday morning, the opening staff discovered water in the rear section of the beautiful new Massage Envy Spa. Turns out the sump pump in the rear parking lot was not operational and water seeped in the emergency exit. Coit was called and arrived quickly to assess the damage and immediately began the clean up.
“The good news, says Kaitlyn Adams, owner of Massage Envy Spa Monrovia is that only 7 of our 15 rooms were affected, so we are still open for business. Clients receiving services cannot even hear the fans running or work being done. Fans can be heard in the Tranquility Room, but it isn’t terrible, sounds like white noise and none of our clients have minded. We will however need to postpone our Grand Opening Celebration which was scheduled for next week, November 13. After conferring with the Chamber, the ribbon cutting will take place next Thurs as scheduled and a new date will be chosen for the party. We had an excellent report from Coit today (11-5) that the walls will be completely dry by tomorrow so the repair work can begin. We will be fully operational soon. “
