Sheriff Scott promotes Nicole Nishida, official spokesperson for the Department, to Community Information Officer

Sheriff John L. Scott has announced the promotion of Ms. Nicole Nishida to the position of Community Information Officer. Ms. Nishida has been an official spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for the past several years and it is where she will continue her assignment. “I am extremely proud of Nicole’s accomplishments throughout these past few years. Nicole brings a wealth of experience to her new role and a continued dedication in representing our Department. I truly welcome this opportunity for Nicole and look forward to our ability in furthering our relationships with the media and the public we serve.” John L. Scott
Nicole has represented the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Headquarters Bureau, as a Public Information Officer since December of 2008. Her degree in Broadcast Journalism and years of experience in media relations has contributed to her success in representing the Department’s mission of public service and transparency to all of media outlets.
