October 9 – 12 Azusa Golden Days 2014 “Lasso Our Memories”

On Friday, October 10 Azusa Sister City will have a Steak Fry at the Senior Center, 740 N. Dalton. From 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.
Starting Friday, October 10 and running to Sunday October 12 is the annual Golden Days Carnival at Memorial Park, 320 Orange Place.
On Saturday October 11 the Azusa Elks annual Pancake Breakfast will start at 6:00 A.M. in the Light & Water Parking lot, 729 N. Azusa and end just before the start of the parade at 11:00 A.M.
The Golden Days Parade begins at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 11. The start of the parade is at San Gabriel Ave. and Foothill Blvd.

Oct. 11 — Over 50 Job Fair Pasadena Senior Center (85 E. Holly St from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Pasadena Senior Center hosts this job fair that’s sponsored by the City of Pasadena Human Services and Recreation Department. Parking and refreshments are free.
October 11 — ArtWalk 2014 at Pasadena Playhouse District (Colorado Blvd. and Green St from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Pasadena ARTWalk is Pasadena’s largest urban art fair with over 5,000 people attending yearly. The event highlights some of the best Southern Californian visual artists showcasing their work in painting, sculpture, watercolor, photography, mixed media, ceramics, jewelry, drawings, and printmaking. All-ages are welcome. Free

October 12 – JPL Open House at JPL (4800 Oak Grove Drive) from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The event, themed “Welcome to Our Universe,” will take visitors on a “ride” through the wonders of space. Highlights include a life-size model of Mars Science Laboratory, demonstrations from numerous space missions; JPL’s machine shop, where robotic spacecraft parts are built; and the Microdevices Lab, where engineers and scientists use tiny technology to revolutionize space exploration. October 12 — R. G. Canning Flea Market at Rose Bowl Stadium (1001 Rose Bowl Drive) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. , the world’s most unusual flea market.
