September 12 — Picture of Health at at the Arcadia Community Center (365 Campus Drive) at 9:00 a.m. Arcadia Senior Services in partnership with Methodist Hospital
present a special day targeted towards healthy aging. This event is for individuals age 50 years of age and older. Free.

September 13 — Family Bird Walk at the Arboretum (301 N Baldwin Ave.) Join Julia Ray, Pasadena Audubon Society instructor for a fun morning of finding and watching our fine-feathered friends. Walks are open to all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult) and all levels of birding knowledge. Bring your binoculars and wear comfortable walking shoes. Free.

Pianist Robert Thies explores the relationship between the composer and the splendor of nature, as seen in art and life.
