Round up your family members and friends to participate in the Amazing Family Race on Saturday, October 18, 2014. Teams must include four family members or friends and will race by foot or transit bus throughout the City of Duarte. Each team will compete in various challenges, solve puzzles and overcome obstacles. The first place team will be awarded $400, the second place team will be awarded $300 and the third place team will be awarded $200. Teams must be comprised of four family members or friends and meet the following requirements: all team members must be at least 10 years old; one team member must 18 or older; and team members must stay together during the event at all times. The registration fee for each team is $40 and registration is open until October 1, 2014.
The Amazing Family Race is a special event to promote family unity, good health and exercise while highlighting various city facilities. To register contact the Duarte Teen Center at 626.303.0863.
