‘Mi-Fi Mondays’ at Red White + Bluezz continues to grow in popularity

There’s an astounding music scene in Pasadena but not everyone yet knows about the latest really cool gig which kick started last month at the popular Red White and Bluezz next to Pasadena Playhouse.
It is actually a great marriage of musicians and food industry professionals who want a night away- for those in the business to let their hair down, so to speak, according to the music baron Dave Peterson who somehow managed to get these incredible musicians together .
But then, anyone who knows Mr. Peterson recognizes he’s all about music…the best possible and will do “ whatever it takes” for the music to be heard in Pasadena.
The new patio is now open and the band invites area musicians to bring an instrument and jam with some of the top names in the business.
This week’s ( August 11) gig is going to be one hell of a show folks- Don’t miss this one.
Sandro Feliciano, who was born and raised in Sao Paulo Brazil has been playing drums/percussion for over twenty five years. He has put together quite a line up for Monday which includes 2AZZ1; John Depatie, Leo Nobre on bass
After attending “Los Angeles Music Academy” he found a great opportunity to exchange cultures recording and touring with “Living Word Community Church of Los Angeles”.Sandro has been working professionally in U.S.A. ever since, not only on the gospel field but with many other artists going from Brazilian music, Contemporary jazz, R&B , Modern Rock , and Classical as well…such as: “George Duke”, “Airto Moreira” and “Flora Purim”, “Dori Caymmi”, “FabianaPassoni”, “Elba Ramalho”, “Teena Marie”, “Van Hunt” , “Wah Wah Watson”, ” Olie Woodson” ( The Temptations ), “Laurin Hill”, “Alphonso Jhonson”, “Jeffrey Osborne”, ” Matthew Garisson”, “Jimmy Haslip”, “Russel Ferrante”, “Howard Hewett”, “The Stylistics” and many more.

Today, 2AZZ1 is one of the most popular URBAN CONTEMPO bands on the Southern California Showcase & Festival scene. This Urban Contempo genre is best described as an irresistible, high energy contemporary sound that delivers power packed, sophisticated, fresh, feel good grooves and melodies heavily influenced by rock, jazz & world music. This band believes that music has a purpose and that purpose is to bring people together & celebrate everything that is good about life. John DePatie is a guitar player and songwriter from Los Angeles, California.
As a guitarist he has performed and/or recorded with Nancy Sinatra, Leif Garrett, Don Randi& Quest, and Cathouse Thursday.His first solo EP, Psychedelic Cowboy, was released at the end of August 2013. He also recently co-wrote and recorded a CD entitled Acoustimania with studio legend Don Randi from the Wrecking Crew, which was released November 2013. Cathouse Thursday, hisgroup with Will Faeber and Aaron Bagley, recently signed a deal for which they have been commissioned to write and record their fifth CD.
