Friends of the Sierra Madre Library’s Best Used Book Sale Aug. 1
Featured in the Friends of Sierra Madre Library’s bi-monthly Best Used Book Sale this month will be BACK-TO-SCHOOL with school supplies: binders, paper, pens and book covers, dictionaries, thesauruses, and reference books. Included will be a complete set of the 2011 World Book encyclopedia and a complete set of the 2007 Encyclopedia Brittanica. They will have many teacher-resource books and materials ready to use in the classroom. In addition, there will be a complete set of “Annals of America” and a set of “The Encyclopedia of Science and Physical Science” suitable for classroom use.
The table books include some wonderful art books, as well as beautiful cookbooks, history, sports and some great automobile books. Nearly new fiction titles include books by James Patterson, Clive Cussler and Harlan Coban.
The Children’s/Young Adult collection in the basement features some beautiful books priced from $1.00-$5.00. In the parking lot, many Children’s/Young Adult titles can be found ranging in price from 25 cents – $1.50. In addition, the parking lot will have adult paperbacks for 25 cents each or 5/$1.00 and our popular “Bargain Books” for only $1.00!
The sale will be held at the rear of the library located at 440 West Sierra Madre Blvd. Come early to stock up and save. Mark your calendars for The Best Used Book Sale on Friday, August 1st, from 3-7p.m., and Saturday, August 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. sponsored by the Friends of the Sierra Madre Library. All proceeds benefit the programs and resources of the Sierra Madre Library.
