Andy Bencosme, Managing Broker of CENTURY 21 Village in Sierra Madre recently welcomed Ted Rudolph to his Sierra Madre office. The announcement was made at the office’s weekly marketing and sales meeting.

Ted has been a real estate agent for about 10 years and really likes what he is doing. “It is hard work and one must be diligent in the responsibilities that come along with the position,” said Rudolph.

Besides his experience in real estate, Ted has been a manufacturing and quality engineer in the microelectronics (computer chips) industry for the past 25+ years, primarily in Silicon Valley. Ted relocated to Southern California about five years ago, after being born and raised in the Northern part of the state.

The two professions, engineering and real estate, are very different but both require a lot of discipline, thorough follow-up, and dedication. Ted uses these same traits in his hobbies. “My wife and I enjoy working in the yard, trimming the plants and planting new plants. The backyard is blooming with flowers which make both of us happy to see our labor come to fruition.”

Being a real estate agent also helps Ted get himself grounded in the community. “I enjoy being an agent; you get to know your community and the surrounding cities as you get more involved with the people who live here,” stated Ted.

In addition to gardening and being involved in the community, Ted and his wife have two little Pomeranians and four desert turtles. One tortoise weights about 80 pounds, the second weights in at about 30 pounds and the remaining two less than 10 pounds. “They all get along and roam in the backyard and keep our grass well-trimmed,” said a smiling Ted.

He and his wife also enjoy riding their tandem bikes and lots of walking in the neighborhood. Ted stated, “As we continue with this form of exercise, we hope to meet most of you as we go through your neighborhood.”

Ted Rudolph and all of the friendly CENTURY 21 Village agents can be contacted at 38 W. Sierra Madre Blvd in Sierra Madre or by telephone 626.355.1451 or on the internet at www.c21village.com or www.facebook.com/c21village
