600 marijuana plants found in Monrovia

Police seized 600 plants, two pounds of dried marijuana, two vehicles, and cash from a Monrovia home Wednesday morning.
A strong odor prompted authorities to obtain a search warrant at the 200 block of West Cypress Avenue.
The Monrovia Special Enforcement Team and the Los Angeles Interagency Metropolitan Police Apprehension Crime Task Force served a search warrant at the location just after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Robert Tran, 34, of San Gabriel, Tan Vuong, 36, of West Covina and Kuong Yek, 36, of Woodbury, Minnesota were arrested on suspicion of cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana for sales, grand theft and conspiracy.
