Taste of Arcadia 2014 set for Sept. 22; pre-sale ticket deadline Monday, June 30
Record VIP reserve table sales and sponsors 90 days in advance; food/beverage vendors nearly sold
On the heels of a record turnout last year, Taste of Arcadia 2014 has been set for September 22, and the deadline for advance discount tickets is this Monday, June 30.
A record number of VIP reserved tables for 10 have already been sold and very few are left at the $499 price for members of sponsor Arcadia Chamber of Commerce, and $599 for non-members. Individual tickets are $40 for members and $50 for non-members for a few more days before prices jump to $70 on July 1 for non-members (members get a $20 discount to $50 as of July 1). Tickets, which are $75 at the gate on Sept. 22, may be purchased atwww.ArcadiaCaChamber.org, by calling 626-447-2159, or in person at the Chamber office at 388 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, 91007.
Last year’s outdoor event at the beautiful Los Angeles County Arboretum drew a record 1,300 attendees and more than 90 vendors and entertainers. This year’s event is expected to be even bigger.
The Business Showcase at the Taste is nearly sold out with more than 40 vendors and a handful of car dealers. Likewise, there are only a few spots left for food and beverage participants.
Attendees enjoy the many different foods and tastes from at no additional charge beyond the admission ticket from more than 40 of the most exciting local restaurants, caterers and wine-and-beer vendors.
Returning this year is the Hollywood premiere-style Red Carpet Experience created by Printing Control, the T.G. Metzger State Farm Insurance Monday Night Football Lounge, a classic car show presented by Wayne Williams of Professional Advisory Services; the popular Lounge-O-Rama band playing swing, Big Band and Standards early in the evening, and shifting to classic pop rock after dark; Daniela Brazil and her popular exotic Brazilian dancers; MonArc Face/Body Painting and Balloon Animals; and the Arcadia High School drum line serenading attendees as they arrive.
As always, a percentage of proceeds from Taste of Arcadia are donated to local non-profit organizations — $5 per ticket for every ticket sold by a pre-approved organization.
