Letter to the Editor: Print is not dead

Dear Terry,

I wanted to thank you again your outstanding coverage in the Weeklies of our June Faire. Your follow-up in the latest edition(s) was a lovely surprise and certainly icing on the cake!
The Faire’s attendance was the best we’ve had in years, and we did a random survey of patrons to find out how they heard about it. The numbers were split between the “regulars,” who personally spread the word, and everyone else, who cited “they saw it in the newspaper.” Who says print media is “dead”?!
I can’t tell you how glad I am that we cleared up the communication glitch that prevented our publicity from reaching you. (Computers-boon or bane?) Thank you so much for contacting me about it.
I’m sorry I did not get to meet you personally at the Faire. I was hoping to treat you and your wife to a banger! Alas, I was hither and yon photographing and pitching in to help where needed, so I was never in one spot for very long and hard to pin down. I am looking forward to crossing paths, which I hope will be sooner than later.
Thanks again, Terry, for all your help.
Sincerely,

Stephanie Vitale
Administrative Assistant II
