To the Editor:
When are Americans going to stand up to and realize the Republican and Tea Party shameless hypocrisy in regards to gun control and violence? The Republicans with their “guns everywhere” laws are destabilizing communities around the country.
It’s like the NRA gunslingers are still living in the Wild West days when everyone was armed with a six-shooter.
Times have changed – now gunslingers are walking around with semiautomatic guns that can wreak havoc to anyone in their way.
What’s in the best interest of the nation should be the goal not the twisted screed and agenda of the gun crowd. Is it going to take 50-100 people killed in one setting by these lethal guns to bring about action and sanity?
