On June 25 and 26, Maranatha High School will host a Technology Conference to share the results of their research and deployment strategies of integrating a 1:1 iPad solution school-wide this year. Maranatha has invited a number of area schools to join them to discover findings and explore best practices.
During this unique two-day Tech Conference, participants will hear from leading technology providers with whom MHS has partnered. They will hear case studies about how new technologies have impacted schools across the nation, and be provided with a customized road map for their own successful edtech deployment. Partners like Apple, Cisco, Aerohive, Canon, Airwatch, Pearson, Vista Learning, AkinsIT, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt will be sharing their 1:1 success over the course of the event. Day one will specifically focus on the infrastructure it takes to plan and install a 1:1 program, while day two will focus on applications, curriculum, and classroom management techniques.
We live in an amazing time where technology has packed so much power into the smallest devices. Handheld devices feature numerous tools such as communication, video conferencing, hi-res photography and video with editing capabilities, social media, documentation, database management, and access to millions of books and videos, just to name a few! Maranatha High School has found that introducing the wonders of technology into the school curriculum has expanded the capabilities of their teachers and offered unlimited learning styles to their students. Maranatha’s Technology and EdTech Departments look forward to sharing their experiences and best practices with other area schools at the June conference.
