June 7th Play Day at All Souls Catholic School Features New Playground Equipment and Children’s Garden
June 7th Play Day at All Souls School! Features new playground equipment and Children’s Garden.
All Souls Catholic School is hosting the last Play Day of this school year for children ages 4 through 8. The Play Day will be held on Saturday, June 7th from 10 am to noon. “Everyone is invited to join us, whether you are interested in learning how our language immersion program works for children, or just to enjoy the day,” said Ms. Carrie Fuller, school principal. Light refreshments will be served.
Children can play on new playground equipment provided courtesy of the Christ Child Society, and they can explore the children’s garden created through a grant from Whole Foods. There will be time also for families to tour the school and observe the Chinese and Spanish classrooms.
All Souls Catholic School is the first elementary school in the Los Angeles Archdiocese, and one of only twenty Catholic schools in the U.S. offering dual language immersion. It is the only Catholic school in the nation offering two separate language tracks: Spanish-English and Mandarin-English. Parents select which language track their child will follow.
Students are challenged with a rigorous curriculum in a nurturing environment and prepared to become tomorrow’s leaders. Credentialed teachers provide a Christ-centered education of the whole child with the goal of leading students to become individuals who are ready for the challenges of the 21st century with the ability to read, write, think, and communicate in two languages.
All Souls Catholic School is located at 29 So. Electric Avenue in Alhambra, California 91801. For more information, call (626) 282-5695; e-mail: principal@allsouls.la; or visit the school’s new website: www. allsouls.la.
