The Recreation and Community Services Department is offering a Springtime Kid’s Retreat at Longley Way Elementary School, 2601 Longley Way, in Arcadia. This retreat is open to elementary school children ages 6-11 and provides a safe, supervised, kid friendly retreat during spring vacation. The dates are Tuesday, April 8th, Wednesday, April 9th, Thursday, April 10th and Friday, April 11th from 9am to 5pm for a cost of $20 per day. Sign your child up for one day or all four. The camp is filled with fun group activities including crafts, board games, movies, snacks and more. Children must bring a sack lunch each day. Supervision is generally on a ratio of one Recreation Leader for each group of 10 children. Cancellations must be made by Monday, April 7th in order to receive a refund (which is subject to a $10 service charge).
