This past Tuesday, August 27, LEGO and Belkin hosted a celebration embracing the marriage of creativity and innovation with the release of the first officially licensed LEGO iPhone 5 case. Tastemakers, entrepreneurs, musicians, and thinkers gathered at boutique urban lodge, Palihouse West Hollywood, for a night of childhood nostalgia and play, accompanied by a dessert bar full of sweet temptations from D’Vine Pastry Bar. Eclectic tunes from DJs Metric, Hapa and Ricardo Carlos kept the evening poppin.
Many guests received their very own case, and a rainbow ensemble of LEGO pieces sat waiting in a candy bar-like display, ripe for imagination’s takeover. A gallery of LEGO Master Builder creations displayed genius constructions like a robot, globe, and a car all made with the iPhone cases integrated into their works. We left the party inspired and equipped with a bagful of LEGO pieces, ready to let the kid at heart out in full force.
