YWCA Pasadena-Foothill Valley to Honor Jacqueline Jacobs, PhD for 2013 Racial Justice Award

On October 21, 2013, the YWCA Pasadena-Foothill Valley will host the 11th Annual Women for Racial Justice Breakfast at the Pasadena Hilton Hotel. The event will be from 7:30 to 9:30 am and will bring together over 500 influential community leaders and advocates. The breakfast was established over ten years ago to exemplify the YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women. The Women for Racial Justice Breakfast continues to be a unique, inspirational community event because the YWCA continues to be an innovative and cutting-edge organization in its empowerment of women and girls throughout our region. This event also kicks off the YWCA’s Week Without Violence which is hosted that same week.
