

It’s not often that a photographer’s style alternates readily between minimal and teeming with visual movement. Ted Emmons is one such photographer. Perusing Emmons portfolio, one can find lustrous color-drenched photos bursting with busy patterns and textures just as easily as one may find stunningly simple photos where, in place of glittering contrasts, are muted colors and an intimate stillness. Emmons recently opened his first solo exhibition at Park Studios Hwood and we’ve picked out our favorite photos below.
