For the past 25 years, über-model and muse Kate Moss has been plastered over the cover of leading magazines like Vogue and Interview, so it’s safe to say she’s still a present-day work of art. The famed Christie’s art and luxury auction sure believes so and is set to feature a 50-piece art collection curated by Gert Elfering, with the model as subject, Septempber 21-24.
Featured are photographs, paintings, collages, sculptures and a tapestry going from £10,000 all the way to £35,000. They will be on display until the auction on September 25, which is set to amount to over $1.5 million in total.
Possibly one of the most recognized names and faces in fashion and modeling, it’s no wonder that this icon is setting such a high standard at this Modern Art auction.
