Los Angeles-based artist Miles “Mac” MacGregor’s uniquely rendered portraits make for striking murals and have been spotted anywhere from Cuba to South Korea. The artist’s distinct rippled style serves as a visually arresting tension between photorealism and the markings of graffiti and street art. Shown below are photos from triptych mural commissioned in Denmark by Martin Nielsen, based on European philosopher Søren Kierkegaard’s Purity of Heart is to WIll One Thing.
