Did our post on Woodkid’s single, “I love you” have you smitten? Luckily for you, we’ve gotten hold of a pair of tickets to see Woodkid live on May 8th at the Fonda. The French video director-turned-musician is known for compositions that feel grand in scale and intensely moving. For proof, watch this video of Woodkid’s recent performance at the Grand Rex theatre in Paris in September 2012. Accompanied by a thirty piece orchestra and beautifully abstract visuals, Woodkid’s Paris show was certainly not your typical neo-folk-pop show (if there is such a thing).
