

On Thursday, March 28, 2013, at approximately 8:25 pm, deputies from Century Sheriff’s Station responded to a home in the 2000 block of 130th Street, Willowbrook, in the unincorporated Los Angeles area in response to a call of a “Gunshot victim” at the location. Upon their arrival they discovered a 26 year-old male Black victim who was paralyzed from the waist down, lying on the living room floor of his home suffering from several gunshot wounds. The paralysis was a preexisting condition.
Paramedics responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Witnesses claim they heard gunshots coming from the location and when they checked the location, they discovered the victim had been shot inside his home.
No suspect was seen leaving the location by the witnesses.
The investigation is being investigated as possibly gang related.
