As a sponsor of Los Angeles’ first official Puppet Fest, the City of Los Angeles, Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) has played a mentorship role in empowering some of our region’s most energetic players to organize and market a lively schedule of entertaining and participatory events with something for all types of audiences. We are certain that this increased concentration of smiles and laughter will be a great way for Los Angeles to join our country in celebrating National Puppetry Week,” exclaimed Joe Smoke, Director of Cultural Grant Programs, City of Los Angeles DCA.
