

Public Integrity Division of District Attorney to review complaint
of alleged corruption in San Gabriel Election

Beacon Media has learned that a complaint has been filed with the Los Angeles County District attorney’s Public Integrity Division regarding some alleged inappropriate handling of the most recent municipal election in San Gabriel.
Sandi Gibbons, Public Information Officer for the District Attorney told Beacon Media that the office has received a complaint “ which is under review by the Public Integrity Division. A review is to determine whether an investigation will be opened.”
The complaint refers to a number of violations by poll workers in San Gabriel among other allegations.
The San Gabriel Sun has contacted city council members and the City Manager for comment, but as of press time no calls have been returned.
