Sierra Madre’s Wistaria Festival Sunday

Although the vine wasn’t quite ready to meet the local press Monday for ‘Media Day’, the weather forecast seems to indicate that the purple blooms will be ready in time for this Sunday’s annual homage to a vine that garnered the Guinness Book of Record’s attention some years ago. In addition to the gargantuan vine, people can enjoy live music and shop along Sierra Madre Blvd and Baldwin Avenues for some truly unusual and unique arts and crafts. – File Photo by Terry Miller
