RITUAL CAFÉ RAISES THE BAR OF THE MALL DINING EXPERIENCE

WITH NEW UPSCALE RESTAURANT CONCEPT

World Inspired Café And Wine Bar Mixes Things Up

At Debut Location In Westfield Topanga Plaza- VIP Grand Opening Attracts Celebrities

From Caviar to comfort food, fine wine to champagne, world art to artisan coffee, newly opened Ritual Café is turning the tables on mall dinning with an innovative new restaurant concept.

An exclusive invitation only VIP Grand Opening of Ritual Café on Saturday March 2, 2013, sponsored by Seven Arts Entertainment and 2 Hearts Radio, drew more than 100 people including a long list of celebrities such as Danny Houston (The Constant Gardener), Brian Fortuna (Dancing With The Stars), Caitlin Fowler (30 Rock), Nancy Strafford (Matlock, St. Elsewhere) and Peta Wilson (Le Femme Nikita) among many others.

Located in the heart of the Luxury Court of Westfield Topanga Plaza, on the first floor alongside such prestigious neighbors as Neiman Marcus, Louis Vuitton and Tiffany, the premiere Ritual Café is a welcome surprise, far removed from the food court or other eateries.

“Ritual Café is unique in many ways, beginning with its concept,” said partner Alexander Kush who owns the restaurant along with fellow foodies Tatyana Kanavka and Alex Fishkin. “It’s a hidden gem, rich with flavor and worldly flair. We pay attention to every detail, from the freshest food to the finest wines to the imported art that adorns the beautifully tiled interior of the standalone sit down café.”

“My partners and I wanted to combine our passion for food, wine, world culture and art to create a totally unique dining experience in a casual yet classy wine lounge atmosphere, fusing stunning Asian inspired colorful interior design with modern technology, glass, metal and antiques,” continued Fishkin.

It’s all in good taste.

A blending of the partners Russian, Ukrainian and Belarus heritages, Ritual Café serves up a distinctive array of offerings based on the treasures of the Far East and translated into a modern culinary palate of bold and exciting flavors.  The carefully crafted menu boasts a tantalizing twist on classic dishes as well as original mouthwatering masterpieces. Amongst the Russian Royal Black Caviar, Tuna Tartar, Lobster Ravioli Caviar and Egg Salad, and Lobster Club prepared by Executive Chef Ian Anderson, patrons may also indulge in Ritual Grilled Cheese and Soup, New York Pastrami Sandwich, House Turkey Chili, Panini’s and specialty salads among other delicacies.

To accompany the fresh gourmet fare, Ritual Café has an equally impressive selection of fine wines, a full bar and exclusively serves LAMill brewed coffee, the number one artisan roaster in Los Angeles. So committed to providing a first class experience, Ritual Café baristas are regularly trained on site and visited weekly by LAMill representatives.

“Ritual Café is an inviting open space, a place you want to stay and relax in, leisurely enjoying a Latte, glass of wine or a meal.  You easily forget that you are in a mall,” noted Kanavka of the café which recently won the Best 2012 Restaurant Design honors from among all 59 Westfield malls worldwide.  “Ritual Café is also poised to become the go to place in the San Fernando Valley to host romantic and intimate gatherings, wine tastings, charity fundraisers, private events, photo shoots and larger scale events.”

The partners plan to open up shop in other Westfield Shopping Centers throughout Los Angeles and locations nationwide.
