Gliss are a Danish trio who’ve made their way to Los Angeles, bringing with them a Scandinavian atmospheric chill evident in their beautifully melancholic music. This new video from Gliss is the first in a series of five acoustic videos which will be released weekly. The “Into the Water” video is simple, with hazy overlapping images of the band members performing in a sparsely decorated living room. Simple as it is, it provides a bare canvas for their brooding and intimate music to shine. Discovered by Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins, the band has also performed in-studio for KCRW’s “Morning Becomes Eclectic” and Seattle’s KEXP, and is certainly a trio to keep an eye on. For those of you who’d like experience Gliss live, the band currently has a residency at Los Globos in Silver Lake. See here for dates.
