It’s Official: San Bernardino County Sheriff’s confirm Cop Killer’s Death in Big Bear

Charred human remains found inside a burned cabin on Tuesday in Barton Flats in Big Bear have been positively identified as 33-year-old Chrisptopher Dorner according to a press release sent out by San Bernardino SO.
A dental examination led to the confirmation, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials announced this afternoon following an autopsy.
Dorner, a former Los Angeles Police Department officer, is suspected of killing two people in Irvine on Feb. 3, a Riverside police officer on Feb. 7 and a San Bernardino detective near Big Bear Tuesday.
Two other law enforcement personnel were injured in the Riverside and the Barton Flats shootings.
