

On January 15, 2013, at approximately 2:12 p.m., the Pasadena Police Department received a telephone call from a male caller stating his brother had been shot. Officers responded to the intersection of Chester St. and Maple Street where they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. Paramedics were dispatched to the scene and transported the shooting victim to a local area hospital. The victim, Zane Goldstein (male-21) succumbed to his injuries thursday and died.
Pasadena Police Detectives responded to the scene and have been actively investigating the incident. On January 16, 2013, detectives arrested a 17 year-old male for attempted murder and he is being held at a juvenile detention facility. An adult was also arrested and is being interviewed by detectives regarding his involvement.
