San Gabriel Mission Christian Service distributed a large box filled with food and a bag of toys to 211 families or individuals for Christmas, announced Greg Quioan, director of mission’s Christian Service. Donations were received from individuals, families and among the groups that donated were San Gabriel Mission parishioners, St. Felicitas and St. Perpetua Church parishioners in San Marino, Super A Market in Temple City, San Gabriel Mission Museum and Gift Shop, and Knights of Columbus Mission San Gabriel Council 3517.
Quioan was pleased to announce that all people who asked for help were helped by the generous donations from people and companies and groups. He also thanked the more than one dozen mission Christian Service volunteers who donated hundreds of hours of work planning and organizing the event, and San Gabriel Mission Elementary School and San Gabriel Mission High School for their efforts.
