The Pasadena Police Air Operations Section and the Foothill Air Support Team (FAST) to conducted their 7th annual Christmas Toy Drive at the Pediatrics Ward of Huntington Memorial Hospital.
Pasadena Police Chief Phillip L. Sanchez escorted Santa Clause and his flight suit clad “elves” bearing gifts and holiday cheer after arriving atop the hospital in their own special rotor-equipped sleigh which doubles as a police helicopter when not at the North Pole.
This event was funded through the contributions of employees of Pasadena Police Department and Officer Associations participating in the FAST program, throughout the San Gabriel Valley. “This truly demonstrates the care and compassion of the employees from all of our agencies,” said Chief Phillip L. Sanchez. “It is our honor to be the hosting and coordinating agency, to put this together with the men and women of so many other fine police departments, but mostly it is our pleasure to bring some joy into the lives of the children who won’t be home for Christmas.”
