Madison of San Diego ended Monrovia’s hope for a CIF State championship with a 21-17 victory over the host Wildcats on Saturday in the CIF State South Region Division III Bowl.
It was a crushing defeat after the Wildcats won their third consecutive title last Friday. The team was confident and ready for bigger things, or so they thought.
San Diego, apparently, had something else in mind.
