Lauren Saracione launched her career as a fitness trainer after high school 12 years ago, learning Pilates and working for Ron Fletcher (who studied under Joseph and Clara Pilates). “I’ve always loved Pilates, but felt there was something missing,” says Lauren. “I spent years exploring other forms of exercise, and out of that I created my own ‘Pilates Barbell Club Five by Seven’ workout.” The program combines five barbell lifts, and seven Pilates movements. “I have focused on working with women,” though the program is not gender specific. “In January I am opening PBC up to men too, so come one, come all!”
