Pasadena Chamber to Honor Sally Bixby
Only a few seats remain for the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce President’s Breakfast honoring Sally Bixby, 2013 TofR President, and the Tournament of Roses.
The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce will honor Tournament of Roses Association President Sally Bixby at the annual President’s Breakfast at the Sheraton Pasadena on Thursday, December 6, 2012. Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. followed by a festive celebratory program.
Sponsors of the 2012 President’s Breakfast are California Bank and Trust, Corporate Center Pasadena, Kaiser Permanente, Singpoli Capital Corporation and Wells Fargo.
Chamber members, friends and the general public are invited to imagine Oh, The Places You’ll Go, the theme for the 2013 Tournament of Roses with honored special guests Queen Vanessa Natalie Manjarrez and the Royal Court, as well as Tournament presidents past, present and future.

A highlight of the morning’s breakfast is a chance to hear from Sally Bixby, president of the Tournament of Roses for the 2013 Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game share her experiences representing the Tournament.
A Pasadena native, Ms. Bixby attended Pasadena public schools and earned her R.N. from Pasadena City College and her Bachelors of Science and Master of Science in Health Care Administration from California State University, Los Angeles. Ms. Bixby recently retired as surgical director of two local hospitals. She and her husband Harlan have three children.
Ms. Bixby has been a volunteer member of the Tournament of Roses Association since 1989 and was elected to the Executive Committee in 2005. Throughout her extensive Tournament career, Bixby has served on many committees and was chairman of three; Queen and Court, Decorating Places and Host committees. She is the second woman to serve as president of the Tournament.
Tickets to the Tournament Breakfast are $75 each. Corporate tables of ten are $750. Sponsorships are $1500. Those sponsoring the event receive a table with recognition, acknowledgement in all publicity materials and will enjoy breakfast with the Rose Queen or a member of the Royal Court as their guest.
