

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a man in the 2400 block of Continental Avenue, South El Monte.
Detectives have learned that deputies from Temple Station responded to the location regarding a call of a shooting.
Upon arrival, deputies found a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso. Paramedics transported him to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The victim’s identification is being withheld by the Coroner’s Office, pending next of kin notification. There is no further information at this time.
