

Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) presents the following two free workshops this month to help customers reduce energy use and help local businesses improve emergency preparedness plans.
“Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity” – 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 18, Salvation Army Pasadena Tabernacle, 960 E. Walnut St.
Can your business survive the next major disaster? From earthquakes to blackouts, learn from City experts about the most critical steps your business needs to take now to prepare for and recover from a major disaster. This event is open to all Pasadena businesses. Small and mid-sized businesses are particularly encouraged to attend.
“Going Solar” – 9:00 a.m. to Noon, Saturday, October 27, Shumei America National Center, 2430 E. Colorado Blvd.
