The seven Rose Princesses are: Kathryne Alice Benuska, (#848), 17, Maranatha High School; Tracy Italia Cresta (#376), 17, La Salle High School; Vanessa Natalie Manjarrez (#626), 17, Mayfield Senior School; Victoria Sophia McGregor (#268), 17, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy; Nicole Cherie Nelam (#765), 17, Pasadena High School; Sonia Marie Shenoi (#451), 17, San Marino High School and Madison Michelle Barili Teodo (#222), 17, La Canada High School.

The announcement follows a month-long process in which over 900 Pasadena-area young women participated. Selections were based on a range of qualities including public speaking ability, poise, academic achievement, community involvement and personality.

“These seven young women are each exceptional and we are thrilled that they will be representing the Tournament of Roses,” said Joan Madsen, Chair of the Queen and Court Committee. “Among the many outstanding applicants this year, these seven really rose to the top. We know they will be terrific role models and handle their numerous commitments with poise and grace.”
