Officers responded Thursday to a report of burglary/vandalism in progress. Upon arrival, officers saw the suspect matching the description. The suspect started walking away from the area once he saw officers.
Officers ordered him to stop and comply, but the suspect continued walking away. At one point,
officers observed that the suspect was holding a gun and was attempting to conceal it under his jacket.
The suspect was ordered to drop the weapon. The suspect complied and was taken into custody
without further incident. A records check revealed that the gun was stolen. Suspect William Davis, 25 is a convicted felon who is living on the street but now in custody.
