The recent opening of Noors Indian Bistro at 106 South Myrtle Ave. brings a taste of authentic Indian cuisine to Old Town Monrovia.
Owner Nick Multani says “my family has been in the restaurant business all my life. My father is the chef, our authenticity comes from my mother’s recipes, and making it ‘gourmet’ was my touch.” This is the family’s 2nd restaurant, with another successful store in Pacific Palisades in operation for ten years. “We cook with passion and don’t take it as a job.” Multani hopes hungry residents of Monrovia, Arcadia, Sierra Madre, Duarte and more will try them and keep coming back.
Noors menu features eight different types of chicken tikkas, all marinated with distinct combinations of spices and sauces. Each has a unique and tasty flavor, and we are told it’s very unusual to find so many varieties of tikka in one place.
The restaurant is located on the east side of Myrtle just south of Foothill Blvd. They are also available for catering from as small as dinner at your home or an intimate dinner party, to large groups.
Open daily for lunch and dinner. For reservations or more information call (626) 932-0125, or visit MonroviaNoorsIndianBistro.com.
