Krishna’s birth is celebrated by Indians all over the world with great fervor and enthusiasm.
The event is FREE and OPEN to public and will feature performances by professionals and amateurs in the form of bhajans (devotional singing), skits, songs. Special feature will be the Jhankis (tableaux) depicting Krishna ‘s life. Krishna ‘s birth celebrations will be held at Midnight!
Parents are encouraged to dress up their kids as Krishna & Radha with the costumes available at the temple for photo-ops.
Phalahari (special food for fasting) & regular dinner will be available FREE for all to enjoy. While snacks-to-go, special Krishna related items (music CDs, bhajan booklets, coloring books) can be bought with nominal donations to the temple.
