$10k Reward Offered for Info on July 4th Unique Russell Homicide

On the 4th of July at 10:20 P.M., deputies responded to a shots fired, gunshot victims, call on the 1300 block of West 97th Street., Los Angeles. Three victims, including two female juveniles and one male adult, were struck by gun fire.

All three victims were transported to a local Hospital and treated. A 14 year old girl, Victim Unique Russell succumbed to her injuries and died at the hospital.

Two male Black suspects, described only as being between the ages of 18 and 25, were seen fleeing the scene south on Normandie Avenue and out of view.

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved in this brutal murder.

Investigators are seeking the assistance of the public and anyone that has information is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
