Latino Baseball History Project Discussed at El Monte Library – July 21

Dr. Santillan, Professor Emeritus, Ethnic and Women
Studies, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona
will discuss his latest book, Mexican American Baseball In the Inland Empire. Dr. Santillan has been actively involved in the Latino Baseball History Project for many years and was the coauthor of an earlier book about Latino baseball players in the Southland. Former Latino baseball players from the area have been invited to participate in the question and answer period.

The public is invited to stop by and meet the author and his guests and enjoy the light refreshments. Books will be available for purchase and signing by the author.
