Metro Gold Line held an open house in Arcadia Tuesday to allow members of the public to view the plans for the extension of the Gold Line from Pasadena to Azusa. Several of the artists who designed the art to be on display at each station were on hand to answer questions regarding their designs. Representatives of Kiewit and Parsons, the companies who are working together on the construction of the extension, were also present.
Another such open house will be held in Duarte this evening, June 28, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Duarte Community Center, 1600 Duarte Rd. There is no formal presentation planned. The public is invited to come to the community center and ask questions about the projects.
